Thanks for Teachers!

I did some altering this week! I made clipboards for the kids' teachers as Thank You gifts. They could have been quite a bit better, but I think they are decent for one night's work. I know HUGE procrastinator!!!! The teachers loved them, so I guess that is all that counts! It was the least I could do for these four women that helped my three kids have such a fantastic year!

I used the Sonata papers from CTMH for this one. Thanks Mrs. Carlisle! Bren is ready for whatever 7th grade throws his way after being in your class!

This one was for Trev's teacher Ms. Garcia! Probably one of the best teachers I have ever met!! Hopefully Kaylee can be in her class in a couple of years! I used some Blush papers from Basic Grey for this one!

I used More to Adore from CTMH for this clipboard. Kaylee had the pleasure of being in Mrs. Heacock's and Mrs. Zabaleta's 1st grade class! They were both absolutely amazing! What could be better than getting two for the price of one! Kaylee is very sad that school is over! She asked them to move up to second grade, so she could be in their class again next year! Thanks Mrs. Zabaleta!

I used More to Adore again for this one I made for Mrs. Heacock! She flipped out when she saw it and got the directions on how to make them. Summer project for her three kids!

pages 214-221 !

We had a lazy, lay around, stay in your jammies kind of day yesterday. We watched movies, and just spent time as a family in the comfort of the air conditioning! Summer's arrival is letting itself be known where we are in the world! IT'S HOT!! While we were being couch potatoes I pulled my stuff out and scrapped on the coffee table. 8 more pages for the year. I need to buckle down and work on a few swaps now. I have a couple with looming due dates, so I suppose I should get working on them. I have put a pretty good dent in all of my kits lately, so I suppose I can justify getting MORE!!

This page was done by Amanda L. in one of our swaps! Worked great for all of these pictures of the boys Boogie boarding. I have sooooooo many beach pictures! I need to scrap more of them before I start taking any for this year. If we can afford the gas to drive out there!! Ridiculous! I challenge all of you other fellow scrappers out there to take a picture next time you fill up, so we can document this craziness!!! It is the kind of thing that will be fun to look back on in the future! The kids will be all saying,"Oh look! That is when we still had a vehicle that was powered with fossil fuels! " LOL! I got the idea to take a picture(s) of the costs of things these days from a fellow scrapper, Tami! Great idea girl!

June All Day Crop Pages!

Yesterday was the all day crop that I go to with my bestest scrappin' buddies! I got 29 pages done! That is 213 pages done so far this year! Yea Baby!!

While packing for the monthly crop that I go to, I came across these layouts that just needed a little somethin'somethin' before I could call them done. Well..... a little time playing, and there are 16 more pages for the year! I also got myself all packed and ready to go for tomorrow. I'm in a scrappy mood, so I hope to get a lot done!
