Jesus took the wheel

Yesterday morning I got the scary news that my neice Mandi was involved in a roll-over car crash, and was taken by ambulance to the hospital. It is amazing the thoughts that rush to your head when situations like this happen. I can say that I was a mix of worry wort, and mother hen, "Oh my goodness, I hope and pray she is okay!" to " What in the heck was she doing!!!" I'm happy to say that her angel was definitely with her and she is alright. A little banged up, and a lot sore. I'll take that any day rather than facing one day without Mandi on this Earth with me. When I was talking to her on the phone last night, she was retelling the story of the horrible accident, which I 'm sure she had told so many times earlier that day. The thing that I find the most chilling and brings goosebumps to my body is that at the time of the accident she was listening to Carrie Underwood's song "Jesus Take the Wheel." and singing along with it. How weird and awesome is that?! Food for thought for those who don't really believe!
